G.I.JOE: Metaphor and Warning in the Military Industrial Complex, and Examples of Foreign Policy AND (presented with a thorough index of) Popular American Conspiracy Theories: Part 2

In our last exciting episode of G.I.Joe analysis... We traced Jack Kirby and Jim Steranko's colorful visionary and trembling paranoid visions of the world of James Bond like spies such as Nick Fury and the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and their struggle against terrorist like HYDRA evolve into Larry Hama's world of Joes and Cobra agents.

Alternate path: Snake Eyes entertains the reptilian theories: The Temple of Set, Cobra, Conan, David Icke, ancient reptilians, Mario and Koopa, Reptile from Mortal Kombat, etc...

At the end we met Zartan and became familiar with his various active neurosis and aversions to natural light as a by-product of his reptilian hybrid like composure.

When I first wandered onto the scene of synchromysticism years ago, Steve Wilner and Jake Kotze had already begun to feed my interest in reevaluating the Joes with their short films. One that always stayed with me is the Twins (as Gemini and Galactic Center) Xamot and Tomax.

       Cobra Commander starts tripping-out over the idea of a “transmuter”, a device that can alter the molecular structure of an object. So he contracts his private military shape shifter Zartan to retrieve it. (For some reason in this episode, Zartan has a booming echo effect on his voice.) Some of the GI Joe characters discuss the meaninglessness of fighting constantly in cycles and suggest giving up against Cobra, the same character later states " I'm starting to wonder if it matters whether the Joes or Cobra wins" Cobra disguises themselves as top military brass, and the Joes fall for it a millionth time...When the Joes get in a fight with Cobra over the device they accidently alter their reality to one where Cobra has redesigned the Washington and Lincoln memorial in their image and " the UN has become one nation, under Cobra ! " Not in linear order but, the Joes find some old people that own a store, and they immediately retina scan the Joes with a Cobra device that responds " that they don't match any known dissidents " The old people explain that Cobra always test different weapons, strains of bacteria, and the weather dominator, around their shop. They explain that US currency is now useless. The Joes go back to their base after realizing that Destro’s inventions being used by our government basically proves that Cobra has won the war awhile back.

       The Dreadnaughts become cops. Steeler begins rambling about the devil; he’s also the character that’s been the deranged destroyer of morale, who seems to accept the Cobra. (established as the post Odessa Nazis) At 21 min in a Cobra female officer simply isn’t wearing pants. Lady Jay explains how the Joes must be trapped in an alternate Earth. Washington DC's monuments, besides being Cobra themed, are now all gold, where there was silver or stone. This may be seen as some kind of alchemical reference since the main weapon in question is the Transmuter. DC is obliterated in an air campaign between the Joes and Cobra. The eye of the Washington monument opens to reveal what Destro calls a “Parasite Matrix" while three of the Joes get an interrogation from Cobra Commander and his “Centrifugal Persuader " Baroness winds up being a V type hoarder of literature and a secret member of the Resistance. She instigates in-fighting amongst Cobra. Convinced he's lost it completely they let Steeler stay in the alternate world. It is revealed that Steeler has a disease from a bug engineered by Destro, much like his Nano-mites in the live action film. The rest of the Joes split through a portal.

Pyramids of Darkness-written by Ron Friedman

" Sure who'd notice a sailor with a parrot and a masked man with a timber wolf " Snake Eyes and Shipwreck infiltrate an underground facility beneath " Enterprise City " as the rest of the Joe crew head to space to dismantle Project Blue Beam. (Space Station Delta) Four black monolith 2001 resonating control cubes align to form a pyramid over the earth, with the signal to the satellite. Later" Exterminated, Exterminated, Exterminated! “the voice recognition security robot goes pretty Dalek on Shipwreck and Snake Eyes. This theme was taken over to the Iron Man cartoon by the same writer in the episode

Rendezvous in the City of the Dead

As Cobra Commander's plan starts to come together he flies giant black cubes to their given locations, as Shipwreck and Snake Eyes witness the plans for the Cubes and a monitor that flashes 666 then 777. The cube is evident of a transformational device in more than one way, apparently.

Three Cubes to Darkness

A woman in red named Satin, who is also a pop singer beefs with Colonel Slash, as she hides Snake Eyes and Shipwreck.

Last Hours to Doomsday:

Underwater checkered serpent encoiled Cobra bases create a mystery vortex and threaten America. Destro lives out his tentacle fantasies again…

Operation Dragonfire:

The Joes go to the Himalayas to do some UN type feeding and educating when Cobra decides to wreak havoc on the local temples in search of the Dragonfire Weapon. When the monks chant under a statue, it makes a spear emerge from the ground and their “a vibration of desperate need allows...the coiled serpent within the mountain to protect the temple." According to our research the Stone-Age hunters who lived here were sensitive to the power and paintings like this show where the Dragonfire can be found "The cave paintings show a magician dominant over the forces of nature and other men. Baroness realizes the ancients had mastery over crystal energy and genetic mutation. Baroness wears a horse head with crystals in it and gains the power to transform Cobra Commander back to a man, of course prompting a " I was once a man ! " Next the Joes and Cobra find themselves in the Pyramided area of South America, seeking the Dragonfire energy further. The idea of Cobra-Cola comes up. The undercover Cobra agent Scoop was tricked into thinking the Joes killed his parents, when in fact; Cobra did to fuel his rage. It is presented in the show as, restricted data in Cobra's computer files. Cobra Commander gets hold of the Horse Helmet and turns monkeys into his "loyal servants” and they proceed to attack the Joes. The Joes figure out that Scoop is a spy and arrest him, but Sgt. Slaughter can tell by the look in his eye, that he really is a good kid...What is rather strange to me is the genetic experiments to turn people into reptilian humanoids that Cobra Commander is working on during Operation Dragonfire, and its resemblance to Rathamon's methods in Conan. This goes back to my theory that privately funded military groups are being represented here as half in on the plan, or the Mutation.

The No Zone Conspiracy

Cobra plans to rip a hole in the ozone layer with a mass of...shaving cream...and have the Sun demolish the earth...

The Wrong Stuff:

GI Joe goes into space to battle an emerald green Cobra satellite that kind of resembles Saturn. (though it still seems based on Von Braun’s rotating (2001: A Space Odyssey) design.

United We Stand‎:

" Can transform any human brain into a radio receiver, ready to receive my broadcast command from anywhere on Earth...and transform the populace of the Earth into Cobra slaves "-Cobra Commander. That pretty much sums that one up

Victory at Voclania:

The Joes find some ancient cave under a pyramid on a volcano island, while Cobra drills into a crater to utilize lava in powering a giant elevator, and Cobra " space cannons "

Cold Slither:

Zartan heads a rock band that Cobra is using to implant subliminal messages in listener’s minds. When the Joes finally defeat them they joke about using the mind control technology back at the base.

Captives of Cobra:

A U.S Cobra base ( that's what I said ) is growing strange glowing crystals. They hack into Pentagon computers to find personal data on all the Joes. Storm Shadow infiltrates the Pentagon and copies the Joes bios and makes it back to the Cobra base. The Crimson guard is then sent to kidnap the families of the Joes. They mind control the captive family members with an experimental machine " I serve Cobra " The technology apparently works very easily on Cobra soldiers, not so much on Native American men...

Primordial Plot:

“This planet was once ruled by reptiles…soon it will be again” – Cobra Commander

Cobra uses dinosaur DNA to create a race of dinosaurs, that they then mind control into attacking the Joes.

Flint’s Vacation-

An American suburb is controlled by an underwater Cobra base through TV subliminal and psychotronics.

Memories of Mara-

a project to produce soldiers capable of breathing underwater. In the Epcot ball, the Joes interrogate a survivor of the amphibious soldier program. “Cobra has progressed beyond current technology, that’s because they have no restrictions on experimentation and no lack of volunteers. Cobra tries to replace children's schoolbooks with Cobra alternative history text informing them of a Cobra themed world.

A "Cobra Reeducation Program" for " America's youth". Cobra Commander terrorizes children with a snake explaining how it symbolizes the power of his organization. There are characters named Slice and Dice, and Cobra teaches the children to attack the GIJoes.

The Invaders

During a run in with a Russian unit (the October or Oktober Guard) the Joes witness Tomax and Zamot being abducted by aliens after they see UFOs blow up a Cobra bunker. The aliens, who are purple reptilian humanoid in appearance, simply say they are from Sirius, and that they will exit after conducting human experiments, and then they roll out. After the UFOs destroy various worldly locations including the Alaskan pipeline and a Russian oil refinery, they threaten to take out San Francisco and Vladivostok from a base on the moon, which of course, is a false flag distraction because the aliens wind up being Zartan and Tomax…kind of (they are also dressed up like Osama Bin Laden for no reason under the alien mask..) They fake the abduction of Snake Eyes and a Russian cowboy (think Chekov from Star Trek with a cowboy hat) and reveal that no one under their rank knows about “the truth”. Cobra invades Washington D.C. (again) and Moscow, but are beaten to shame…

Lady Jane explains the myth of Osiris and that the tomb is a gateway to the world of the dead. CC goes after the Crown of Osiris. Then the Joe's fall into an underground chamber surrounded by outer space and shooting stars, where Osiris, a flying serpent, Thoth, Amon Ra, and other friends come to explain the mysteries of the universe to the Joes and give them a mystery school test they didn't sign up for in the Navy while CC gets his own dose of Set and Sekhet.

" However, as Dr. Marsh explains that they appear to be part of a soul court, the Joes meet Maab, guardian of universal law, and Amen-Ra, eldest of the gods and her father. She explains that if the Joes survive their test, then the will be found worthy. Then, Set-met, the fiercest daughter of Amen-Ra, attacks the Joes." -directly from the Joe Guide

Postscript: The Reptilians, brought to you by Snake Eyes


This is a wiki for understanding the "reptilian" theory as it applies to ancient history, draconian politics, and where it seems oddly most abundant, film and television. This is an attempt at answering the why, not solidifying anyone's agenda. It is no easy task to attempt deciphering so much information that is admittedly bullshit, to get to the facts, but this is a start.

All major political bloodlines are actually shape-shifters. These bloodlines can be tracked back to the first mind controlled terrorists in the 13th century and the history of blood rituals and mass violent rites. They are closely related to the Annunaki or Anakim- an extraterrestrial bird headed reptilian race that influenced Hinduism, Zoroastism, and the Judaic religions.In Ancient Sumeria- there were blood sacrifices made and blood was drunk as it was believed to contain the DNA of one's ancestors. These rituals are carried on to the Vatican to this day.Elizabeth the First used reptilian motifs on her clothes. Obviously the serpent gets confusing when playing Satan in the bible and symbolizing "kundalini" or spinal energy in worldly mystical and New Age practices.

In the view of ritual magick, psychedelic adventurism in the constructive corner of the counter culture, and evolving exotics physics applications, we are coming to a more solid understanding of the terms of the " paranormal " world. It would seem that ,as Icke had stated, the reptilians influence this world through an overlay of their dimension in ours which is bookmarked physically by the reptilian brain or survival-circuit bottom-chakra instincts. According to Michael Tsarion the Lemurian bloodline is the one hunted and mind controlled by the reptilians, including Cathy O Brien. Many alien abductees and military whistleblowers seem to understand the reptilians as controlling the more popular grey aliens that abduct people. Although alien abduction, in itself seems a product of intelligence agency type mind control or MILABS- the idea that the grays have always been robots doing another being's bidding holds weight in abduction circles. ( Which hold about as much weight in popular science as Loch Ness )

People who research everything about this, but refuse to believe it's a valid area of study ( they're out there ) insist that "reptilian" is only a long running metaphor for being limited to the reptilian section of the human brain; only being concerned with survival and reproduction. This energy behind power is greed and war and rape and so fourth. However investigators insist that the use of this energy is the fluid in our spine that makes their world material. ( and out of fear, that I may be starting to sound like Clive Barker, I shall end there )

Obviously our fascination with reptilian power, so to speak, is not something new. In fact the most popular seems the most obvious. Godzilla towers over us. Predominate in every way as he lay waste to our cities and landmarks. Then rewritten short stories and mysterious passed around film scripts become overnight blockbusters and TV series, all based around Draconian reptilian leaders who want to take over the world through mind control.There is an eerie consistency in children's TV portraying the villain as reptilian, alien and even living in underground tunnel. For the sake of this wiki we shall stick with the more classic humanoid reptilian, however it seems a true analysis may range from H.G. Well's Time Machine to Predator.


Sunbow, the cartoon company seemed to have, in so many words, hijacked Nick Fury and Hydra and turned it into an adaptation of GiJoe; while turning Thothamon to Rathoman in Conan the Adventurer ( the first cartoon ) and running with Robert E Howard's work. Oddly enough a little research will reveal Marvel,Gi Joe, and the Conan cartoon featured Robert E Howard's H.P.Lovecraft tribute work, one of which is the blueprint for Conan, Kull the Conqueror. In the live action Mario movie, reptilians were forced underground after cataclysmic earth events 50 million something years ago just like the animated GiJoe movie, and in both films they are waiting to come to the surface to rule the surface population once again through a single representative...Arnold was originally cast as Koopa, oddly enough and the set designer from Blade Runner was hired for a post apocalyptic feel. Notice the double 'Ka,' K sound in King Koopa or Cobra Commander. Jake Kotze goes on to theorize that in the Mario movie and other films, this double K is significant, as it is a stylized lightning bolt or the Rune sign for Sun or self-energy. It is the rune used by the SS on their uniforms and propaganda as well as the comic book heroes, the Invisibles, Disney's Bolt, Freakazoid,etc... It has meaning ranging from the thunderbolt of Zeus or Prometheus, to the Hammer of Thor and intelligence. Mario and Koopa together form and MK sound. As in Mortal Kombat or Mind Kontrol- ( MK ultra ).
